About Me.

I grew up in Bountiful, Utah as the only daughter with 3 older brothers. With a house full of boys, sports was always a large part of my life. I started to fall in love with sports because they helped me connect with my brothers. I stay in love with sports because of the relationships that can be built, the thrill that comes after a win, and the deep satisfaction that comes from hard work.

Growing up I played nearly every sport under the sun, but as I got older I put most of my focus into tennis. In 2023 I was awarded as the top 4.5 women's singles player in the state. My husband and I were married in June of 2023, and as a big sports fan himself, I started to teach him tennis and fell in love with teaching. Now, along with writing and broadcasting, I teach tennis lessons to kids 12 and under and am looking to expand my reach.

I began my journey as a journalist in 2019 as a social media anchor for the daily show "Newsline," a Brigham Young University production. This is when I gained a real passion for accurate and valuable reporting, and began to become proficient in various software such as Adobe and AP ENPS. I then became a weather anchor at BYU for the daily news show "Universe Live" in 2021. This provided invaluable experience for me. It was a time where I continued to refine my skills as an anchor, practice ad-lib reporting, and use various graphics to create an accurate and informational reports.
